Look no further than Anchor Right Australia. In 2016 Steve Goodwin of a boat name Panope, based in the U.S. took on anchor testing like no one before him, testing anchors in variable sea beds in a quest to find the world’s best boat anchor.
After no less than 56 videos of more than 40 anchors tested, Steve did a compilation with vary desirable comments to Anchor Right Australia, stating the Sarca Excel anchor was arguably the best anchor on the table.
It is now 2021 and totalling a hundred videos with many more anchor designs tested, incorporating most, if not all of the latest anchor designs the world has to offer.
Steve has now given his second compilation, the verdict thus far is that Steve has given the Sarca Excel top spot on anchor performance, quality of build, its ability to remain bedded in the change of tide, able to penetrate many types of sea beds and many more, Steve’s original comments from his first compilation, “the Excel was arguably the best anchor on the table” has rung true to his latest findings.
